I just got Learning to See Creatively by Bryan Peterson. It is a great book and discusses how to train yourself to take pictures from different points of view among a host of other things.

John, Bryan has another good book entitled, Understanding Exposure and to me, it's a must read. Bryan also started up an online school and here's a link http://www.ppsop.com/. If you like his book, you might think about taking one of his workshops. I was able to attend a "vagabond" workshop of his a couple years ago in Oregon and it was worth the money.
